How to apply for the Application?
The American Medical College Application Service® ( AMCAS®), the primary application processing service of the American Association of Medical Colleges, must be an applicant for the majority of medical schools in the United States. AMCAS collects, verifies, and delivers your applications information to each institution you select, including MCAT® test results.
From the start, some information is needed, like:
- your legal name
- and date of birth.
You will receive an AMCAS ID in connection with the application—a number that you will need to remember as you progress through the application cycle, as you will use it every time you send an e-mail to the admissions officer with a letter of update, letter of intent, or letter of interest in your signature. Additionally, a student ID — a number that you will need to know as you go through the application process – will be given.
