What Is Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL)?
Among countries trying to instill normalcy to travel, Singapore is one of them. It has come out with an initiative to curb the need for quarantine. Thus, saving passengers’ valuable time and money. This initiative, or pact with many countries, is called the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL).
As per the VTL, the traveler doesn’t need to quarantine for 2 weeks. They just travel normally, just like they used to do during the pre-COVID era.

How To Apply For Vaccinated Travel Pass To Travel From Malaysia To Singapore?
For that, follow the below-mentioned steps:
- Visit this site.
- Click on “Create New VTP Application.”
- Enter your name and a valid e-mail ID.
- On the email ID, you will receive an OTP.
- Enter the OTP. Now, you will be redirected to the application form online.
- Carefully, fill in the required details and hit “Submit”.

How To Apply For Vaccinated Travel Pass To Travel From Singapore To Malaysia?
The process is the same with no exceptions. Hence, for the VTL Malaysia Singapore application, follow the steps mentioned in the previous section.
Eligibility
Below are the eligibility criteria:
- The traveler should have a negative PCR report.
- If the traveler is below 12 years of age, he/she needs to show a negative PCR result. Or else, the traveler will require to undergo quarantine.
- Every traveler above the age of 12 will be treated as an adult as per the requirements.
These requirements are common for most VTL flights. Regarding the VTL flights from Singapore to Malaysia, and vice-versa, further announcements will be made.
Malaysia To Singapore Flights Timing & Dates
The VTL flights between both countries will start from 29th November 2021, as confirmed by the PMs of both nations. Initially, there will be 6 VTL flights operating between the two countries. Other details will be announced as time unfolds itself.

Just like for the VTL flights from Malaysia to Singapore, further announcements will be made for these VTL flights too.
