What is kvpy.iisc.ernet.in application form?
The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a program that aims to assist students who want to pursue a career in scientific research in India. This initiative was introduced by the Department of Science & Technology (DST0 on behalf of the Government of India in 1999. It helps in grooming the talent of students for research and development and also provides generous fellowship and contingency grants to the chosen KVPY Fellows up to the pre Ph.D. level or up to 5 years whichever is lesser.
The examination is conducted for Indian nationals under stream SA, Stream SX, and Stream SB. Those who qualify for the exams get Rs. 20,000 annually under streams SA/SX/SB from the 1st to 3rd year of B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat/B.Math/Integrated M.sc./M.S. For SA/SX/SB streams during post-graduation studies, the fellows are eligible to receive Rs. 28,000 annually.
