KYEOP Cycle 7 application– KYEOP stands for Kenya Youth Employment & Opportunities Project. It is an employment and entrepreneurship initiative that is already operational in 17 countries and is now being implemented by the Kenyan government.

Through the project, the government aims to invite applications for Cycle 8 include Kiambu, Kisil, Migori, Machakos, Mandera, Bungoma, Kakamega, Kilifi, Kitul, Kwale, Kisumu, Mombasa, Nyandarua, Nakuru, Nairobi, Turkana and Wajir.

KYEOP Cycle 8 Application Details

The main aim of the project is to create employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for the youth who are in the age range of 18 to 29 years. Cycle 8 is only for providing business support.

Under this program, the following are the opportunities for the youth:

• It provides entrepreneurship support for young people looking to open their own businesses.
• This project provides various kinds of job specific training to young people seeking job opportunities. The trainings are provided in both technical and craftsmanship fields.

For example; ICT, Fashion Designing, Hospitality, Catering, Dressmaking, Plumbing, etc.

• This program is completely free and totally funded by the government.
• Offers certificate of completion at the end of the training programme.
