This year WITS plans to have some programs online and others on campus. Thus, the students are being encouraged to have the Learning Management System Ulwazi with them. They need to navigate through their campus and must know where to find help in case of any need.
Applications are open for 2023 admissions
Closing dates for the application in Health Science, Architecture, Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, BA Film & TV: 30 June 2022.
For all other University programs, the closing date is 30th September 2022.

What are WITS online application?
However, this year most of the application processes have gone online to make space for COVID-19. Several programs are run by the company, and all you need to do is, choose the right subjects. Once you have decided on the subjects, read this blog to make sure you know how to go forward with the application process.
Steps for WITS Online Application Online
Once you have chosen your programs, open the online application process. You can apply for almost three programs at this University.
Upload your results and other required documents, pay the application fee of R100 (not refunded back even if not selected) for local citizens and R700 for foreign citizens, submit the application, and further access the self-service portal.

- If you already don’t have an account, create a temporary ID and password.
Step 3: Select the program for which you wish to apply and you can apply for a maximum of three programs with them.
Step 4. Once you have created your account, you can log in to complete the application form. Now, attach your mark sheets, pass certificates, DOB proof, and passport (for international students).
Step 5: Pay the amount due for each course application and then submit your application.
Step 6: Move ahead through the self-service portal and from the portal, you can know if you are accepted or rejected.
Requirements
Like every organization, WITS also has certain requirements for filling up the application form. Different courses have their educational requirements but some general requirements are given below;
- If you fall in the NSC (National Senior Certificate) Group.
- With English at 5 and Mathematics at 6, they can apply for various courses.
- With NCV (National Certificate Vocation) varieties here is the breakup.
- A 60-69% in three of the essential subjects or 70-79% for all seven subjects.
- A rating of highly competent or outstanding candidates needs to take a test.
- International students also must meet the qualification requirements. Contact the University to learn better about them.
How to pay the WITS online application fee?
The application fee can be paid to the following details:

International payment can be done through the swift code mentioned here: SBZAZAJJ.
- You can also send it to their office located on the Ground Floor of Solomon Mahlangu House, East Campus of Braamfontein, Johannesburg, South Africa.
Opening/Closing date 2022
The online application for general subjects is already over, and the last date was 30th September. The other subjects like Health Sciences, Audiology, Speech and languages, film and television as well as pathology closed on 30th June.
