What is excluded workers fund application?
Workers who did not have a legal immigration status suffered the most during the COVID-19 pandemic. There are no schemes that support such workers and units. However, with the new Excluded Workers Fund application, you can seek relief even in such times of turmoil.
The Excluded Workers Fund (EWF) is set for those worker groups who have suffered substantial losses due to COVID-19. Again, these workers are to be the ones ineligible for Unemployment insurance and also related Federal plans, schemes, and benefits. Such ineligible conditions often come up for those workers who have disputed immigration status and even other contributing factors.
