What are the Application Requirements?

The DUT has several application requirements that differ from one course to another. However, a few basic requirements that are a must for all the courses include;

1. A national senior certificate with 5-% in English and Maths.
2. Must qualify in at least 5 subjects with a level 4 for applying to the diploma courses and level 3 for accessing various other courses.
3. Depending on the application stream, one must have a specific subject combination.
4. English must either be the native language or the first additional language and must have a Level 4 pass in it.
5. Faculty requirements for each subject must also be met.

Application Fees

It is R250 for South African citizens and R300 for international students.

The last date of this year’s application was 30^th September, and for some courses, it closed earlier.
