The Renter’s Tax Credit Application Form RTC by the State of Maryland is a provision for those who stay in rented properties in Maryland where the state will pay a direct check of $1000.00 a year to renters who meet certain eligibility requirements. The application submission window is open from Feb 01, 2021, to October 01, 2021. The approval time is 30 days to 90 days and the time to complete the application is half an hour to one hour. There is no application fee and applicants can apply only once.

Requirements
- New applications must be filed every year to be eligible to receive tax credit.
