The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) recently opened its online application for 2023 to its different programs. Applications are open for students from Grade 1 to Grade 8 and application is possible to file online.

To apply for the WCED online application 2023 for 8th grade you can follow the below procedure.
- Go to their website and press the Apply Online tab.
- Start your application by either entering your ID number or your passport/permit number. Parents can register themselves easily on this website.
- Agree to the terms and conditions by checking the checkbox of the WCED application.
- Add if you are a South African citizen as a parent, you need to fill it.
- Further, you need to fill in all the details about the kid and also about yourself. Complete the WCED application form with all the essential information.
What are the application requirements?
To get admission, you must submit a few essential documents.
- Report card of the last class
- Birth certificate of the kid
- A study permit is required from the Home Affairs department for the child
- You will also need to submit an immunization card.
- A copy of the application is essential to submit.
How to do WCED online registration?
WCED online registration is possible by following the steps mentioned in the previous segment. You can apply to at least 3 schools that are close to your home.
